Top Gun: Maverick in Concert will feature the Orchestra of Opera North performing Lorne Balfe, Harold Faltermeyer, Lady Gaga and Hans Zimmer’s score – conducted by Ben Palmer.
After more than 30 years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him.
When he finds himself training a detachment of TOPGUN graduates for a specialised mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose.” Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.

Where to sit
Wondering where to sit for the best experience? The Orchestra of Opera North will be in the pit and the screen will be on the stage of the Leeds Grand Theatre.
- Get a bird’s eye view of all the action with a seat in the Upper Circle or Balconies where the orchestra and cinema screen can be seen in all their majestic glory.
- Get closer to the action by sitting in the Stalls or the Dress Circle. Be closer to the big screen and the sounds of the orchestra here, although a view of the orchestra may be limited or not available.
