The Furrow Collective is an award-winning and acclaimed English/Scottish band. Lucy Farrell (viola & saw), Rachel Newton (harp & fiddle), Emily Portman (banjo & concertina), and Alasdair Roberts (guitar) combine their instruments and their distinct voices to create ‘a compelling style and sound of their own’ (The Guardian).
The group were drawn together by a shared love of traditional song and balladry of England, Scotland and beyond, and delight audiences with their uniquely beguiling approach to traditional song.
