Join us for the inaugural concert of the Opera North Orchestra Academy – Opera North’s brand-new youth orchestra of outstanding young musicians from across the UK.
Conductor Lee Reynolds takes the reigns, leading the Academy Orchestra through an eclectic programme of Mozart’s enchanting Overture to The Magic Flute, the dark, earthy sounds of Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 (Unfinished) and Copland’s colourful Appalachian Spring.
Don’t miss this youthful celebration of glorious music, performed by some of the UK’s up and coming orchestral stars of the future.
