Join us to celebrate the inaugural season of the Opera North Youth Orchestra.

This ensemble is comprised of talented young musicians from colleges, universities and conservatoires in Leeds, York, Manchester, Cardiff, Durham, Derbyshire, Hull and Huddersfield. The Opera North Youth Orchestra rehearses and performs exciting and challenging repertoire together with conductors and soloists from Opera North’s Mainstage productions. A large focus of this ensemble is to develop high-level ensemble skills as used in professional settings, as well as the opportunity to work with conductors and soloists from Opera North’s Mainstage productions.
