Eeshar Singh

In a small ensemble featuring tabla (hand drums), and the droning strings of the tanpura, the complexity of Eeshar Singh’s santoor (a hammered dulcimer) produces a beautifully raw and resonant sound.

In this concert the Yorkshire-based virtuoso will explore afternoon ragas in the North Indian classical style, crafting narratives and exploring the spiritual significance of his instrument.
