Making Music
Take your place in our new building from £250 and help us to keep making music for everyone
This event has passed.
With its Victorian interior candlelit, festooned with decorations and ringing with seasonal music from around the world, the Howard Assembly Room’s Christmas Concert is a festive essential.
After two years behind shutters, and with last year’s Christmas postponed for us all, it’s time to celebrate again in the warm glow of an intimate concert. Join us for Christmas music old and new as a virtuoso troupe of guest musicians led by violinist David Le Page and singers from the Chorus of Opera North perform music including excerpts from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Britten’s Festival of Carols, alongside Gabriel’s Message and Carol of the Bells.
Start times
