Why support Parsifal?

Building on the tremendous success of the Ring cycle, presented by Opera North to critical acclaim in 2016, former music director Richard Farnes will return to lead an outstanding international cast in Wagner’s Parsifal.

The latest in our celebrated series of dramatic concert stagings, Parsifal will place a 90-piece symphony in full view centre stage, allowing audiences see as well as hear the players in these colossal works, and be transported by the music in a truly unique way.

This highly ambitious production will tour nationally to a number of the nation’s greatest concert halls in June 2022, providing audiences across the country with a rare opportunity to be transported into the world of Wagner’s final opera and experience the magic and majesty of Parsifal in all its glory.
