Krapp’s Last Tape
Samuel Beckett
This event has passed.
A 69 year-old man listens to the voice of his 39 year-old self.
Looking back on his loves, failures and losses, Krapp rewinds through his life with humour and heartache.
The end result is simple yet beautiful – a classic Beckett play that’s both punchy and personal.
“What an imaginative response this evening was to the challenge of restarting the performing arts… a grippingly angry, burnt-out performance.”
★★★★ — The Times
“Niall Buggy is spellbinding as Krapp… he combines sealed-eyed reverie with scoffing self-contempt…”
★★★★ — The Telegraph
