This event has passed.

Join us for a relaxed afternoon of family fun as we bring Disney’s magical 60th animation back to the big screen for Refugee Week 2023, with its themes of safe havens, family and compassion.

Packed with Lin-Manuel Miranda’s colourful, energetic songs, Encanto tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto.

The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal – every child except one, Mirabel. But when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might just be her exceptional family’s last hope.

Come early and create your own Madrigal family paper candle or butterfly to take home with you. Suitable for children aged 6 and up, and their grownups.

This is a relaxed screening and audience members of all ages are free to sing along, move around and generally have a good time!
