Family Festival

Thursday 28 Oct 2021

This event has passed.

Join Opera North this half term as we open the doors of our transformed home to people from every corner of Leeds and the North to experience the thrill of live music, to make music with us, and to learn about music.

We welcome the whole family for a fun-filled day packed with exciting Halloween-inspired activities and operatic adventures suitable for all ages! Book on to one of our specially-devised workshops; singing, storytelling, crafting and sessions for pre-schoolers and catch a screening of our very own Whistle Stop Opera: Cinderella. Or if you prefer, simply put your feet up with a cup of tea and enjoy the atmosphere of the stunning Howard Assembly Room. We can’t wait to welcome you through our doors!

All this change has been part of our £18 million capital project Music Works to create a place where everyone is welcome to experience the joy of music. Our thanks go to the late Dr Keith Howard MBE and our many generous supporters and funders who made this possible.
