Your Friends of Opera North membership will renew automatically when your next membership payment is due. Your payment card will be charged once a month if you choose to pay monthly, or at the end of the year if you are paying annually. FAQs
Do you offer a joint membership?
Yes, we do! You can name a second person on your Friends membership at no additional cost, as we no longer charge a higher rate for joint membership. To add a joint member please email friends@operanorth.co.uk or call us on 0113 223 3502.
What events do Friends of Opera North get priority booking for?
As our Friend, you will benefit from priority booking on all our opera productions at every venue we tour to each year, allowing you to secure your favourite seats early.
Can I bring extra guests to the dress rehearsals?
Our Friends can gain exclusive access to dress rehearsals for productions they have booked tickets for. As a Friend, you will be able to book two free tickets to dress rehearsals and purchase up to two extra tickets for guests for just £10 each.
How do I join the Friends?
You can buy your Friends membership and pay by card online today, just add a membership to your basket and proceed to the checkout as normal. Choose an annual membership or spread the cost and pay for your membership in monthly instalments. Your payment card will automatically be charged when your next instalment is due.
If you are joining on an annual membership and would prefer that this does not automatically renew at the end of the year, please purchase your membership as usual and then get in touch friends@operanorth.co.uk so that we can update this for you.
We can also accept annual membership payments by BACS or cheque or offer monthly or annual payments by Direct Debit. If you would prefer to pay using any of these methods please contact friends@operanorth.co.uk or call us on 0113 223 3502 for assistance.
Do you offer a monthly payment option?
Yes, we offer a £5 monthly membership rate. If you are a new Friend and looking to pay monthly, you can now set up monthly payments online – simply add the monthly membership option to your basket and your card will automatically be charged each month. We can also offer monthly payments by Direct Debit, to set this up please complete our sign-up form and return it to the email or postal address on the bottom of the form.
